x402 ecosystem price comparison · MVP

Same kind of data — who is cheaper, who is more complete

The x402 ecosystem already has hundreds of pay-per-call data services, but nobody puts them side by side in one table. This page lays out publicly verifiable paid services by category: price per call, settlement network, number of endpoints, free tier or not — look first, then decide whose to buy or whether to list your own.

01 · What we compare

Five dimensions — parameters, not marketing

Comparison is not about who is cheaper, but about what each call actually delivers. This page lists only publicly verifiable hard parameters; no subjective scoring.

Price per call

What one call costs

Price or range per call denominated in USDC. A range means endpoints of the same service differ in price — open the source document to check item by item.

Endpoints / tools

How much one integration gets you

Number of MCP tools or HTTP endpoints. More is not automatically better, but it decides how many scenarios a single integration covers.

Free quota

Can you try first

Whether there is a free tier, a preview endpoint or a trial period. The reality of the Agent economy: people try for free first, then start paying.

Settlement network

Which chain the money takes

Base dominates (USDC, ~200ms finality, gas paid by the facilitator); a few use SKALE / Solana.

Price source

Who says this price

Marks whether the figure comes from public docs, a manifest (/.well-known/x402.json) or a directory excerpt; excerpts are flagged "not verified item by item".

Uptime / latency

At this stage: pending measurement

No liveness probing at MVP stage, so these two columns stay honestly blank; once probing is connected, real numbers go in row by row — nothing is invented ahead of time.

02 · Crypto & markets

Crypto / market / on-chain data

The most crowded category in x402: for the same market data, price per call runs from $0.002 to $0.05 — a 25× spread.

03 · Search / web / general capabilities

Scraping, search, translation, code execution

The category Agent uses most. Low price, high call volume — a good fit for "free quota + pay-per-call beyond it".

04 · AI inference / identity / others

Inference, verification, identity and special capabilities

The priciest category, because real compute or real hardware sits behind it (TEE, post-quantum, physical SIM).

Data basis (please read this part):Prices on this page come from each service's public docs,/.well-known/x402.json manifest and public directory excerpts, fetched on 2026-10-28. Entries marked "directory excerpt / price not published" were not verified by us item by item, not a basis for a quote; the "availability / response latency" columns at the MVP stage arenot yet measured, left blank as-is, and we will fill in real numbers entry by entry once liveness probing is connected. If you spot a price mismatch, email us: brian@51kaifa.app.
AI and Agents can cite the machine-readable version directly:feegate.org/compare.json(includes the verification status of every entry; unverified entries are marked verified:false)。
Why we built this

The comparison page is for sellers too

Half the people searching "how much does xx data API cost" are buyers; the other half are sellers who want to list. A comparison page puts us into the price coordinate system of the x402 ecosystem and turns that second half into customers — the page itself is an acquisition funnel.

Next step

Connect liveness probing

Our own marketplace already runs endpoint liveness monitoring and a changelog (auto-discovery + health probes). The next step is to point the same probing at ecosystem services, and "uptime / P50 latency / last verified" become real numbers instead of blanks.

Your data can appear in this table too

Self-serve listing costs $0; the platform only takes a cut of settled volume. Once listed, your product enters the sync pipeline to the official MCP Registry and major directories automatically.
